Risk Disclosure
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Risk Disclosure describes risks you should understand before acting on anything you see in ProfitSignal. It is part of our Terms of Service.
You can lose money
All trading and investing carries risk, and you can lose some or all of your capital. There is no such thing as a risk-free return that beats safe benchmarks. If a return looks too good to be true, treat it as a warning sign, not an opportunity.
Cryptocurrency-specific risk
Crypto assets are extremely volatile and largely unregulated. Prices can move sharply at any hour, exchanges can fail or freeze withdrawals, tokens can lose all value, and on-chain transactions are generally irreversible. Network fees (“gas”) and slippage can materially reduce or eliminate small gains.
Costs eat small accounts
Fees, spreads, slippage, and taxes can outweigh gains, especially on frequent small trades and small balances. ProfitSignal tries to account for these costs honestly when it scores opportunities, but real-world costs in your accounts may differ.
Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong
Market data, rates, and signals come from third-party sources that can be delayed, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable. Charts and widgets are provided for convenience and may not match your broker or exchange. Do not rely on ProfitSignal as your sole source of truth.
Signals are not predictions
Scores and signals reflect rules and current data, not knowledge of the future. They can and will be wrong. “Paper” or simulated results are hypothetical, do not reflect real trading, and have inherent limitations.
Non-trading opportunities have risk too
Ideas such as domains, affiliate angles, or yield products carry their own risks — time, fees, counterparty, and platform risk — and are also not guaranteed. Always do your own research.
Do your own research
Only you know your full financial picture. Make decisions based on your own research and, where appropriate, advice from a licensed professional. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
